Meridian One Adds FedEx Office to its FedEx Advantage(R) Program

Meridian One is happy to announce that it has now expanded its FedEx Advantage Program to include FedEx Office, the leading global provider of document solutions and business services. FedEx Office now has more than 1,800 digitally-connected locations, many that are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

 

In addition to shipping services, associations that promote FedEx are now able to offer their members discounts on a wide selection of business services, including print, copy, sign and graphics, finishing, binding, direct mail, and more. Plus, with FedEx Office SM Print Online, members can upload, print, assemble, and ship materials all from the convenience of their desktops.

The Integration of Yellow and Roadway

Yellow Transportation and Roadway recently merged to form YRC Worldwide. The integration of their networks, which is now underway and moving forward smoothly, will help the two companies continue to bring its customers the best transportation and logistics services in the industry. Meridian One would like to share some advance information, and assure our customers that we are always available to answer any questions you have.

 

YRC is in the process of establishing shared service centers that will coordinate both Yellow and Roadway shipments for their customers. By creating shared service centers, they will be able to offer more direct service points, introduce new service solutions, and operate more efficiently. While it may seem different at first, listed below are many customer benefits of integrating into a single network:

 

§          Will serve about 21,000 more direct points through their unified network versus the individual Yellow and Roadway networks.

§          Reliability will improve on all lengths of haul, enabling them to offer more service commitments and unique solutions.

§          Their professional drivers will handle both Roadway and Yellow shipments, simplifying your supply chain.

§          Yellow and Roadway pickups and deliveries will be coordinated through one service center.

§          Faster introduction of new solutions and services.

§          Expanded customer service, allowing for quicker answers to your questions and resolution of any issues.

Meridian One is pleased to announce a new affinity shipping program!  Due to the recent announcement that DHL will no longer deliver packages to and from US domestic addresses, Meridian One has teamed up with FedEx to provide a world-class shipping program.

 

FedEx provides customers and businesses worldwide with a broad portfolio of shipping, e-commerce and business services. Discounts will be available on FedEx ExpressÒ (including international shipments), FedEx GroundÒ, and FedEx FreightÒ.

Whirlpool Teams Up With Meridian One

Meridian One is proud to announce a new partnership with Whirlpool, the world’s largest manufacturer of home appliances. Whirlpool has collaborated with Meridian One to expand its direct to consumer sales through affinity programs. Meridian One plans to market Whirlpool products directly to select affinity groups, whose members will be able to buy products (including Whirlpool brands Kitchen Aid, Maytag, et. al.) at the Whirlpool web site at discounted prices. The 1 800 MEMBERS call center team will be ready to accept inquiries from members regarding this new program, although it will not sell appliances directly.

 

The Whirlpool program will be Meridian One's first business to consumer program, and Meridian One is Whirpool's first sales agent and only affinity marketing partner.
